A Letter from the Athletic Director

Dear Cowboy Football Fans:

It’s that time of the year. The time we renew our Cowboy Football tickets in anticipation of joining friends and family on fall weekends in Stillwater to cheer on the Pokes.

Except, this time is a little different. Because of circumstances beyond our control, we acknowledge that we are asking for more than just a ticket renewal, we’re asking for something much more important - - your continued commitment.

As I stated previously in my letter to you, the price of competing at the highest levels of college sports has increased due to the expected settlement of the House lawsuit and the subsequent change to the collegiate athletics model. As a result, you will notice an increase in your season ticket price.

We have worked to keep increases as low as possible and in market with our peer institutions in the region, while understanding that any increase is significant to many of our fans. Your loyal support is not something we take for granted and this decision is not something we take lightly.

But as much as the price of competing has increased, the cost of not competing is much greater. I hope that you will agree with me on this - we have done too much, and come too far, to stop now.

Your ticket purchase and POSSE contribution help drive Cowboy Football and all of our sports to compete for championships. If, once again, we come together and fill Boone Pickens Stadium, we signal to the country that Oklahoma State has every intention of continuing to take our place amongst the biggest brands and finest universities in the country - right where we belong - and have a lot of funs with our friends and family along the way.

But, as always, we can’t do it without you.

Thank you for your continued passion.
Go Pokes!

A few things to note:

  • The renewal deadline is Monday, March 31st
  • There will be seven home games, featuring Baylor, K-State, Iowa State plus Cincinnati for America's Greatest Homecoming!
  • A five installment, interest-free payment plan is available for ticket and POSSE contributions
  • Pricing levels and POSSE Donor levels have changed for 2025-2026 year
  • A new Loyal & True auto-renewal option is available for selection on your application for the 2026 season

More information about the new POSSE Donor Levels and the latest in NIL or Revenue Sharing is continued below.
Investing in Excellence
With the expected House vs. NCAA settlement this spring, institutions will be allowed to share revenue directly with student-athletes. This added expense for schools in the top athletics conferences is expected to start at approximately $20.5 million for 2025-26 and will increase over time.

The POSSE will utilize the Athletics Excellence Fund to support annual revenue share efforts along with our mission to provide all the tools necessary for OSU to compete for championships. While revenue sharing is the newest and largest need, the Athletics Excellence Fund also provides scholarships, academic support services, equipment, sports medicine, nutritional guidance, leadership development, and much more.

POSSE Donor Levels
As part of our efforts to meet these challenges head-on, POSSE levels have been adjusted for 2025-26 — including the addition of new leadership contribution levels and benefit changes — and football ticket prices will see an increase consistent with peer institutions. Entry level POSSE membership starts at $150, Golden Spur (base-level football parking) moves from $2,500 to $5,000, and Cowboy VIP membership begins at $20,000 annually, among other adjustments. A complete benefit chart can be found at okstate.com/posse.

Every gift is significant and needed toward Oklahoma State's success. Currently, the POSSE has nearly 10,000 membership accounts, while we have more than 250,000 living alumni and many more fans. Invite others to join you. Let's increase POSSE membership to 20,000 and beyond!
