A Letter from the Athletic Director
Dear Cowboy Football Fans:
It’s that time of the year. The time we renew our Cowboy Football tickets in anticipation of joining friends and family on fall weekends in Stillwater to cheer on the Pokes.
Except, this time is a little different. Because of circumstances beyond our control, we acknowledge that we are asking for more than just a ticket renewal, we’re asking for something much more important - - your continued commitment.
As I stated previously in my letter to you, the price of competing at the highest levels of college sports has increased due to the expected settlement of the House lawsuit and the subsequent change to the collegiate athletics model. As a result, you will notice an increase in your season ticket price.
We have worked to keep increases as low as possible and in market with our peer institutions in the region, while understanding that any increase is significant to many of our fans. Your loyal support is not something we take for granted and this decision is not something we take lightly.
But as much as the price of competing has increased, the cost of not competing is much greater. I hope that you will agree with me on this - we have done too much, and come too far, to stop now.
Your ticket purchase and POSSE contribution help drive Cowboy Football and all of our sports to compete for championships. If, once again, we come together and fill Boone Pickens Stadium, we signal to the country that Oklahoma State has every intention of continuing to take our place amongst the biggest brands and finest universities in the country - right where we belong - and have a lot of funs with our friends and family along the way.
But, as always, we can’t do it without you.
Thank you for your continued passion.
Go Pokes!
